SPORT AND PHYSICAL PURSUITS
Participation and opportunity is paramount in the development of sporting ability.
Every student is given the opportunity to participate in sports on a regular basis. Hills have several major sport carnivals throughout the year, including swimming, athletics and cross country. In addition to these competitions, the College offers a range of after school sport activities in which students can participate.
Weekly sport classes include swimming, athletics, gymnastics, ball skills, game skills and gross and fine motor activities.
Hills Junior students participate in school sports teams which compete against other schools in the Hills area as part of the ASISSA sporting competitions. Additionally, specialised coaching in AFL, cricket and various other sports is often provided throughout the year.
