Welcome to Hills Adventist College!
I have a wife, two adult children and two dogs! I graduated with a DipEd in primary education in South Africa and then later upgraded to a BEd degree in Australia; and then completed a Master of Divinity in the USA. I worked in South Korea as an English and Bible teacher and then an administrator; and in New Zealand I served as a primary school principal for 6 years and as a school chaplain and pastor for 4 years. I’ve lived and worked in Australia in secondary education since 2008 and completed a MEd in religious education with a core in school administration. I am passionate about education and Religious Education in particular. I thank God for preparing me for my role as Head of Campus, and for the privilege and responsibility to serve Him and our community at Hills Adventist College.
Our Kellyville campus was established in 2011, to facilitate the growth to a full Kindergarten to Year 12 school. Our Castle Hill campus continued to offer an Early Learning Centre and Junior School (K–4), however Middle School (Year 5–8) and Senior School (Year 9–12) were relocated to 10 acres at North Kellyville. Soon, it became apparent with an abundance of new development in the North Kellyville area, that an additional Junior School would also be needed at the new campus. So in 2018 the first Kindergarten class at Kellyville began. 2022 will see all grades from Kindergarten to Year 12 at Kellyville, while the College will still offer an Early Learning Centre and Junior School at Castle Hill.
Hills Adventist College is a co-educational Christian school with two outstanding campuses in the Sydney Hills District: Castle Hill (Early Childhood Education and Primary) and Kellyville (Kindergarten to Year 12).
